Terms & Conditions

By placing a booking you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted them.

Consultations and 121 Sessions

Payment for consultations and 121 training sessions must be made prior to via Bank Transfer (Details below) or on the day of the session by arrangement in cash. An email will be sent out to confirm the appointment. 
Invoices can be raised on request.
  • Hare and Hounds Dog Training reserves the right to change the content, timing, date, venue, consultations or 121 sessions in order to provide a high quality service or where it is necessary for reasons beyond our control.
  • Cancellation by the client with less than 48 hours notice will result in full payment for the session.
  • Hare and Hounds Dog Training accepts no responsibility for injury to you or your dog. 
  • Hare and Hounds Dog Training accepts no responsibility for theft or damage to cars or property whilst at the training venue.
  • All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an Adult.
Parking is on the field.

On arrival can you please leave your dog in your vehicle, until you are instructed by your Trainer. 

Once out of your vehicle can you keep your dog on a lead, at all times, unless otherwise instructed by your Trainer.

Courses, Classes

Payment for classes is for the stated number of consecutive weeks, non-attendance will result in a loss of that week (unless the class is cancelled by Hare and Hounds Dog Training in which case a new date will be added to the end of the course - non-attendance of the alternative date will result in loss of that week).

An email will be sent out approximately 2 weeks prior to the course start date, asking you to confirm your requested place. Receipt of your return email and payment will confirm your place on the course. 
  • It is each dog owner’s responsibility to ensure the safety of their dog by keeping all vaccinations up to date.
  • Payments for courses are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Please keep dogs on lead at all times unless otherwise directed by the instructor.
  • If your dog fouls the training area or surrounding areas please clean it up.

What to Bring

For all classes, 121 training and behaviour sessions please bring the following for your dog:
For safety:
  • A well-fitting collar.
  • If your dog wears a harness please make sure it’s well fitted and secure.
  • A lead - no extending leads.
  • Food Rewards
  • Any Toy your dog really enjoys playing with.
  • Poo Bags

    Clothing

    Our training is outdoors, so please dress yourselves accordingly and more importantly consider your dog’s comfort - if your dog has a coat in the winter months or a cool coat in the summer months please bring them.

      Disclaimer

      Animal aggression can cause injury, including fatal injury, to other animals and people. Treatment for aggression is not a guarantee of success and modifying behaviour does not assure that the aggression will be successfully controlled. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that their pet does not harm in the future. Precautions may involve, but are not limited to, keeping a dog on lead, the use of muzzle, informing others of the dog’s aggressive tendencies, not mixing with certain types of people or other dogs, or confinement behind fencing and doors. Owners remain responsible for their dogs at all times and are advised that they have adequate pet or household insurance cover for liability in the event of damage or injury caused by their dog to property or to a third party. It is strongly recommended that your dog is insured for third party liability with or without vet cover.
